What this guide covers
What you'll need to rebuild yourself when your business switches from Booksy to Bloomber, and what your business can bring over on your behalf.
Before you start
- Your business's client and service data migration (if any) is handled by your business owner and Bloomber's team — this guide covers what's on you specifically.
Migration risks
- Your profile, bio, and portfolio don't transfer. Whatever you had set up on Booksy — your bio, specialties, portfolio photos, social links — needs to be rebuilt directly in Bloomber.
- Your availability doesn't transfer. You'll set your working hours fresh.
Migration timeline
- Before you switch: Accept your Bloomber invite and rebuild your profile and availability.
- Switch week: Confirm your profile and availability are live before your business announces the switch to clients.
- First 30 days: Update anything that doesn't look right as you notice it.
Steps
Phase 1: Prepare
Accept your business's invite. See Join your shop on Bloomber.
Phase 2: Migrate
Rebuild your profile, bio, specialties, and portfolio. See Set up your provider profile, services, and bio. Set your availability. See Set your availability and working hours.
Phase 3: Verify
Confirm your profile looks complete and your availability reflects your real working hours.
Phase 4: Stabilize
Give yourself the first few weeks to notice anything that still needs updating, and update it as you go.
What success looks like
- Your profile, bio, and portfolio are rebuilt and accurate in Bloomber.
- Your availability is live and correct.
Common problems
- My old Booksy portfolio photos aren't in Bloomber — Portfolio photos don't transfer — re-upload them directly. See Set up your provider profile, services, and bio.
- I'm not sure if my client history came over — Client history doesn't transfer for any provider — check with your business owner about what, if anything, was imported at the business level.
