What this helps you do
Set your business up so online booking works the way it actually operates — the right services, the right hours, and the right policies around deposits and cancellations.
Before you start
- Your business identity and services are already set up.
- Payments are connected or in progress.
- At least one provider is invited or ready to join.
Booking configuration isn't one single settings page — it's a small group of settings that work together: your services, your operating hours, and your booking policies.
Steps
Step 1: Review your services
Confirm the services you added during business setup are correct — clear names, accurate durations, and prices clients will understand at a glance.
Step 2: Set your operating hours
Go to Operating hours and confirm when your business is actually open for bookings. This is the schedule every provider's availability builds on top of.
Step 3: Set your booking policies
Open your Policies settings and configure deposits, cancellation windows, and no-show handling. These protect your time and set clear expectations with clients before they book.
Step 4: Check provider availability
If providers are already invited, confirm their individual availability reflects reality — a provider marked available at hours your business isn't even open will confuse clients.
Step 5: Preview the booking experience
Before sharing your booking link broadly, walk through it yourself as a client would — service selection, available times, and any deposit prompts.
What success looks like
- Clients see a clear, accurate service list when they book.
- Available times reflect your real hours and your providers' real schedules.
- Your deposit and cancellation policies are active and match how you actually want to run your business.
Common problems
- Clients are confused by the service list — Simplify names, durations, and prices so a first-time client can choose quickly.
- Availability looks wrong — Check whether your operating hours, a provider's individual schedule, or a blocked-time entry is the actual cause before assuming something's broken. See Troubleshoot booking conflicts, scheduling issues, and service-setup problems if it's still unclear.
- I'm not ready to share my booking page yet — That's fine. Finish payments and provider setup first, and only share the link once a walkthrough of your own booking flow looks right.
