Verify your migration: post-switch checks

Last reviewed 2026-07-06

What this guide covers

The concrete checks worth running before you tell clients you've switched to Bloomber.

Before you start

Migration risks

  • Announcing a switch before verifying everything works can mean clients hit broken bookings, missing services, or payment failures right when you're trying to make a good first impression.

Migration timeline

Run these checks in the days right before you go live — ideally with a real test booking, not just a visual review.

Steps

Phase 1: Prepare

Have a list of everything you set up — services, team, payments, booking policies — ready to check off one by one.

Phase 2: Migrate

Not applicable — this guide is the verification step itself.

Phase 3: Verify

  • Services — every active service shows the correct name, duration, and price.
  • Team — every team member has accepted their invite and completed their own profile and availability.
  • Payments — Stripe shows fully connected, not pending.
  • Booking policies — your cancellation window, deposit requirements, and no-show policy are configured as intended.
  • Booking link — your storefront is published and a real test booking completes end to end.
  • If you migrated from Booksy — spot-check a sample of imported clients and services for accuracy.

Phase 4: Stabilize

Once everything above checks out, move to Stabilize after migration: first 30 days.

What success looks like

  • A real test booking completes without issues, from service selection through payment.
  • Your team, services, and policies all reflect what you actually intended.

Common problems

  • A test booking fails — Check services, availability, and Stripe connection individually to isolate which step is broken, rather than guessing.
  • A team member's profile isn't ready — Confirm they've accepted their invite and completed setup. See Getting started.
  • Imported client data looks off — See Switch from Booksy to Bloomber (Business Owner) — only name, email, and phone transfer; anything else needs manual correction.
